School Council

The Lisgar CI School Council is an advisory body that represents the voice of parents/guardians to the Principal, the OCDSB, and the Ministry of Education.

We meet once each month, generally the first Tuesday evening of the month, at 7:00 p.m. via a video-conference platform (Google Meets).

Our School Council consists of parents/guardians, (some with designated volunteer positions), the Principal, at least one other staff member, one or two student representatives from the Student Council, and, on occasion, an invited community representative

Lisgar C.I. School Council members traditionally spend significant time preparing delegations and submissions to the school board, or making presentations to help other parents. Some recent efforts are presented here, along with helpful information of a timeless nature.
