If you have successfully met the criteria for the following awards and certificates you will be presented with them at the Commencement ceremony in your graduating year.
If you are enrolled in AP Capstone, you may be eligible to receive the following prestigious awards from the College Board after you successfully complete all the required AP exams and earn the minimum required AP exam scores:

You may be eligible to receive the OCDSB's Business Studies Certificate at graduation if you have earned a minimum of:
- 6 Business Studies credits at the College (C), College/University (M), University (U), or Open (O) level.
OR
- 8 Business Studies credits at the Workplace (E) level.
Honours awarded for an 80% average in all accepted credits.

The Diplôme d'études en langue française (DELF) is a French proficiency test run by the Government of France. Students who pass this test show a high level of achievement in oral, written, reading, and spoken French that is recognized by universities and institutions around the world.
If you are enrolled in either Grade 12 French Immersion/Extended French, or Grade 12 Core French, you will have the opportunity to write this exam through the school at no cost as part of your course. You will be recognized for your achievements at graduation.
Note: Lisgar students who wish to sit the DELF exam at school must be enrolled in one of the above mentioned courses.
If you are taking French as a Second Language courses, you may be eligible to earn one of two of the OCDSB's French certificates at graduation:
French Immersion Certificate
- If you have successfully earned 4 FIF/FEF/FRA/FSF French as a Second Language credits.
- As well as 6 additional credits in which the language of instruction is French.
Extended French Certificate
- If you have successfully earned 4 FIF/FEF/FRA/FSF French as a Second Language credits.
- As well as 3 additional credits in which the language of instruction is French

In the fall of each year, you may be eligible to receive the OCDSB's Honour Roll Award if you have achieved an average of 80% in your previous year's top eight courses in Grades 9 & 10, or top seven courses in Grade 11.
The Ontario Scholar Award replaces the Honour Roll Award for students in their Grade 12 year.
If you are enrolled in the OCDSB's International Certificate Program (ICP), you may be eligible to receive the OCDSB's International Certificate at graduation if you successfully complete all the required components of the program.
At graduation, you may be designated an Ontario Scholar, and be awarded the Ontario Scholar Award, if you meet the criteria outlined by the Ministry of Education.
If you are enrolled in an Ontario Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM), and you complete all its required courses and certifications, you will receive the red SHSM seal on your Ontario Secondary School Diploma at graduation.

Grades 9 & 10 students may be eligible to receive the OCDSB's Silver Medal Award if you have achieved an average of 90% (i.e., an aggregate of 720 percentage points) in your top eight courses taken in your Grade 9 year, and again in your Grade 10 year.
Grade 11 students may be eligible to receive the OCDSB's Silver Medal Award if you have achieved an average of 90% (i.e., an aggregate of 630 percentage points) in your top seven courses taken in your Grade 11 year.
Grade 12 students may be eligible to receive the OCDSB's Silver Medal Award at graduation if you have achieved an average of 90% (i.e., an aggregate of 540 percentage points) in your top six Grade 12 courses taken in your Grade 12 year (courses with a course code containing a 4 or D as the fourth digit).
In the fall of each year, you may be eligible to receive a Subject Award for a course taken in the previous year. Students must demonstrate proficiency and a high degree of engagement in the subject. Marks are not considered for Subject Awards.
You may be eligible to receive the OCDSB's Technology Certificate at graduation if you have completed a minimum of eight Technology credits (i.e., course codes that begin with the letter "T" and "ICS", including Co-op directly linked to a technology field).
